It was a cold summer night when policeman Fred Mash was driving home from work, when suddenly he got a call that near his location had happened an accident. He told the department that he would go there and check what’s happened. He called his wife Aimee and told her that he would be late.
When he arrived at that place he saw an empty house and on the street there was a woman who lived next door. She told Fred that she heard loud noises inside that house so she called the police.
Fred took his transmitter and told the dispatcher that he’s going in. He took his gun in one hand and a flash light in other, because there were no lights. He checked the first floor and it was clear. Then he went upstairs and there he saw a man who was laying on the ground. He approached him slowly and asked if he’s okay. The man didn’t answer, Fred took another step closer and suddenly man jumped up and attacked Fred. Fred quickly shot from his gun and the bullet pierced mans heart, but before that he managed to bite Fred in the arm.
When ambulance arrived they took care of Fred’s arm and then took a look at the victim discovered something really weird. Them man had grown bigger teeth like he got fangs and he got blood all over his clothes the blood wasn’t his it was someone else’s blood. So they told Fred that it would be better if he checked in the hospital for some tests.
Fred didn’t listen to them, only thing he wanted to do was to get back to home to his wife. He went home and told everything to his wife. Fred hadn’t killed anyone before so he was a little bit depressed. Of course Aimee told Fred that he did the right thing but Fred didn’t feel like it.
Next day Fred woke up went to the bathroom to take a shower but he discovered something strange about himself. His eyes changed colors from green to bright blue and he got sensitive to bright light too. He didn’t want to upset his Aimee so he put on sunglasses and went to work. At the work he didn’t take them off either and no one asked why he got them. At the noon he started to feel sick, and he looked like he’s got a fever. He told everyone that he’s taking his day off and went home. He went home and his wife wasn’t there because she was at the work, she was a nurse and she had night shift tonight. Fred went to bed to take a nap. But his nap wasn’t long because he got really hungry. He went to the kitchen to make some sandwich, he made one but he couldn’t eat it, he didn’t want it, he wanted something else something fleshy. He took a piece of meat from the fridge and didn’t even cook it he ate all of it raw. He wanted more and more but there wasn’t enough of it and it was almost night.
He took he’s jacked and went out to take some fresh air. The moon was shining brightly because tonight there was the full moon. He was walking through the park and suddenly he felt terrible pain in his mouth. His teeth started growing large, when the pain stopped he’s had teeth like a dog and he felt hungry again. It wasn’t all he also discovered that he’s senses got stronger he could see everything in the darkness and he could hear much more than the normal people , he heard some kind of noise he didn’t know what it was until he looked around and saw a person that was walking through park too. He realized he could hear that person’s heart beating. That sound made him crazy he wanted to make it stop, so he slowly walked behind that man, so the man couldn’t hear him, and broke his neck and the sound stopped. It wasn’t all now his hunger took control of his body and started to eat the dead body.
Next morning he woke up behind some kind of bush near the park, he didn’t remember anything, he just knew that something has happened, because his cloth were all in blood. At home he turned on TV and saw the news, they told about accident in the park, it was all over the news, Fred started to realize that when he was sleeping, he saw a terrifying dream, but it turned out it wasn’t just a dream it happened in reality. He had a feeling that he has changed not only his look but he has changed also from inside. He became aggressive, evil and he couldn’t control it. He didn’t know what to do, he didn’t tell anything to Aimee or his friends. He was also afraid that if that happened again he could hurt some one he loves.
